What is Software Composition Analysis (SCA)?

Software Composition Analysis (SCA) identifies the open-source and third-party components in your applications and checks them for known vulnerabilities, outdated versions and licence risks. It produces a Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) and tells developers which libraries to upgrade or replace.
